The masterplan for EUROMED promotes the concept of EcoCité, envisioning a consolidated and rather dense Ground Floor level where streets and squares are clearly defined together with an aerial layout where the buildings reduce their floor area while increasing the distance between one-another. This enables the dwellings to take advantage of the depth and richness of an array of façades which create an essential element of the architectural project: the loggias by means of which each unit establishes an interior-exterior transition. Living in EUROMED should provide the added value of the feeling of belonging to an urban enclave for which our project proposes the sequence busy street – bushy garden – common terrace – intimate loggia – as the main architectural pretext for turning the act of living here into a thrilling, contemporary experience. The tectonic condition of the constructed volumes is fully exploited, seizing upon their potency for the creation of a diverse, vibrant and optimistic urban landscape, reactive to natural light and where nature is substantially present.
